3D TYPOGRAPHY

Within the development of computerized technology and availability of ready-made fonts in the systems, the use of pen and paper has certainly diminished over time. But, there are still designers or artists who prefer the sketching method compared to the digital execution.

Hence, whilst researching for current trends and debates in Typography, I came across a new term known as Anamorphic Typography. Inspired by case studies of typography practitioners within this area, I have done some exploration with hand lettering by making a text appear as 3D through a wrapped or distorted perspective using 2D method.
